**Five Star Review for Crivello’s Italian Bistro** My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Crivello’s Italian Bistro in San Juan Capistrano, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our server, Christy, truly made the afternoon special with her professionalism and extensive knowledge of the menu. Her descriptions of the dishes were so vivid and enticing, I could almost taste them before they arrived. We started with the fried calamari appetizer, which was perfectly crispy and delicious. The veal piccata we ordered was tender and flavorful, complemented beautifully by a fresh Caesar salad. The baked artichoke was another highlight, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. To top it all off, we indulged in a fantastic carrot cake for dessert, paired with a rich, aromatic espresso. The ambience of Crivello’s is equally impressive, with charming music and casually-quaint scenery that enhanced our dining experience. I cannot recommend Crivello’s Italian Bistro enough – it’s a gem in San Juan Capistrano that delivers both outstanding food and exceptional service. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Every time I go I’m blown away by the quality and taste of the food. Not to mention the service. Adolfo is the best waiter I’ve ever met. He remembered us, the day we came, the city we’re from and even our order when we came back a second time months later.

A snug Italian restaurant with a wide array of pasta options. The Linguine Frutti de Mare was hearty and delicious. I also enjoyed the cozy ambiance and attentive service.

We were driving back into town and were craving italian. We have some nice places in Laguna Beach and there's always Olive Garden, but we wanted somewhere new. We Googled and found Crivello's. We weren't very original in our order I had the Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken and my friend had it with Shrimp. I found out the Alfredo Sauce is made fresh to order, the chicken had seasoning to it. Make sure to order the side of bread, it isn't served automatically. We saved enough room for dessert and decided on the Chocolate Cake... WOW!!! It was huge and delicious, with chocolate sprinkles, so much that we took half of it home. Adolfo the server was so great. When we mentioned that it was our first time, he patiently went over the menu and specials. We were in a silly mood, he laughed at our jokes! I am going to make it a point to go back and try the specials, the lasagna (which was enormous), and more of the homemade desserts.

The service was excellent! They made me feel so welcome even though I was dining alone. Food was excellent.

Crivello’s is our local Italian spot that my daughter and I love to go to for a girls day! Our server Christy is super friendly, kind and attentive. The food, well I used to be a professional chef and I’m from the east coast and this spot does the trick! Super fresh, tasty, authentic~ we love love love the calamari, bruschetta, chicken parm, octopus, desserts and I don’t know what they do to their house salad but sometimes I just crave that :) …but of course end up getting so much more. It’s delicious!
